Quiet, Efficient Design

A host of silencing technologies have been implemented to achieve super-quiet operation. We've also improved operating efficiency and reduced energy consumption.

Energy-saving Operation

All the models of Panasonic's FS Inverter Series are equipped with DC inverters for the higher EER operation. The new design attains the quiet and high-efficient operation and reduces the running cost.

Hyper Wave Inverter

The control of the inverter demonstrates the maximum compressor torque. The FS series quickly warms the room up to the set temperature and maintains a comfortable condition, whilst ensuring energy efficiency and savings.

Flexible Installation

The powerful airflow enables a longer duct to be used. Since the air outlet can be installed away from the main unit, a variety of air conditioner layouts become possible.

Auto Fan Mode

Auto fan mode has been added, besides High, Medium and Low, the air conditioner will automatically adjust the fan speed according to the indoor temperature.

Auto Restart Funtion

When the electrical power comes back after a power failure, the unit automaticlly restarts the operation in the pre-failure mode.

Dry Mode Function

Dry mode can make a comfortable indoor environment during wet seasons.

Auto Changeover Function

The system automatically switches between cooling and heating in accordance with operation load in order to maintain a comfortable indoor temperature.

Low Ambient Cooling Operation

The unit can be set for cooling even when the outdoor temperature drop to -5°C. This is ideal for locations that require cooling in winter.

Weekly Timer

Weekly timer setting (each day of a week) is available to control the air conditioner. Max 6 settings per day and 42 settings per week can be executed. The temperature setting can also be programmed for optimal comfort.

24-hour On/Off Real Setting Timer

The start or stop operation time (hour and minute) can be set at one time. Or both of the times for start and stop operation can be set.

Odour Wash

Odour wash reduces any unpleasant odours produced from the air conditioner's heat exchanger.

Economy Mode

An approximate 20%* energy saving operation is attained. The air conditioner judges the stable condition and moderately shilfts the set temperature in 0.5 degree sets to control the energy-saving operation (max. 2 degrees).

* During operation in the cooling mode at the remote control set temperature of 25 under the cooling standard temperature conditions.

Hot Start Control

When starting in winter conditions, the indoor fan will not operate until a specified temperature is reached on the indoor coil. This eliminates any cold drafts while the system in heating up.

Self-Diagnostic Function

Indicator lights and codes make it easier for a service technician to diagnose problems.

Fully compliant with MEPS performance standards

Panasonic Australia was one fo the first companies in Australia to register with MEPS.

Easy Maintenance

Maintenance works can be conducted from the underside of the indoor unit.

Space-Saving Outdoor Unit

By improving the fan, we were able to make the outdoor until small enough to fit in spaces too tight for conventional units.

50m Long Piping

Piping can be extended up to 30m without additional gas charge and up to 50m with additional gas charging. By giving you more flexibility in positioning the outdoor unit, this gives you a wider range of installation options.

Centralised Drain Method

The drain outlets can be gathered into a single drain pipe even thwen multiple outdoor untis are installed to a wall.

Side-by-side continuous installation

When multiple units are used, even outdoor units with different capacities can be installed side by side in an efficient, orderly layout. To make this possible, we have positioned the service port in the front and given all models the same depth.
